To avoid Paris: via Reims, Troyes, Orléans, Limoges, Souillac (exit 55 A20).

By train

TGV to Paris.

Then Paris, Brive-La-Gaillarde, or better, Souillac.

Or TGV Bordeaux then Bordeaux-Sarlat.

By plane

Ryanair Charleroi-Bergerac A/R flights: 2 X week in season on Monday and Friday (1h15 flight). Otherwise, Via Toulouse.
