Welcome to the House of Lassagne

We welcome you safely in our independent lodgings.

Originally from the Spa-Francorchamps region in Belgium, we discovered the Dordogne a few years ago and fell in love with it. We have decided to live a second life there dedicated to welcoming and meeting travelers of all origins. In addition to French, we are fluent in English and Dutch and can therefore welcome you in all three languages.

​We have taken over the project from the former owners, Martine and Dominique Thibart, and are happy to welcome you to the Maison de Lassagne, in our comfortable gîtes Les Iris and Les Roses.

​

Our property is located in the hamlet of Saint-André-Allas, 6 km from Sarlat in the Périgord Noir, south of the Dordogne (South-West France). It was part of the Grande Borie estate.

Our comfortable lodgings (new bedding, new bathrooms) are fitted out in the old renovated barn, respecting the authenticity and charm of the old blond stones typical of the region, at the edge of the swimming pool (10X5), secure and heated (of 15/05 to 30/09), facing south and out of sight. Our main house has retained its original slate roof (dry stones).

The 1 hectare garden, planted with many species, offers flowers in profusion. It invites you to stroll, to meditate...  Ping-pong table, outdoor games, badminton and swings will entertain young and old! Tennis and multisports ground  free at 200 m. Bakery at 800 m.
