WELCOME TO LA MAISON DE LASSAGNE

 

Originally from Belgium, I fell in love with the Dordogne region, and in particular the Périgord Noir. I decided to start a new life here, dedicated to welcoming and meeting travelers from all over the world. In addition to French, I speak English and Dutch, so I can welcome you in all three languages.

I am delighted to welcome you to Maison de Lassagne, in the comfortable Les Iris and Les Roses cottages.

The property is located in the village of Saint-André-Allas, 6 km from Sarlat in the Périgord Noir, in the south of the Dordogne (southwest France). It was once part of the Grande Borie estate.

The comfortable cottages (new bedding, new bathrooms) are located in the renovated old barn, respecting the authenticity and charm of the old blond stones typical of the region, next to the swimming pool (10X5), secure and heated (from May 15 to September 30), facing south and sheltered from view.

Each cottage has a private beach with access to the pool and a covered terrace. The main house has retained its original slate roof (dry stone); this is where the owner lives.

The 1-hectare garden, planted with many different species of trees, offers an abundance of flowers. It invites you to stroll, meditate...  Ping-pong table, outdoor games, badminton and swings will entertain young and old alike! Free tennis and multi-sports field  200 m away. Bakery 800 m away.
